Jesmonite collection was a development of my degree show collection TOTAM reimagined with a different material application. Working with molds made from existing turned wooden shapes, I used Jesmonite, a weighty, stone-like casting material, to give the items a new feel and function. The wooden building blocks transformed into objects that feel precious and decorative, the monochromatic colour theme was used to highlight the simplicity and tactility of the forms.
